Obsolete Transport

Twelve passenger capacity hi-speed boats that used to ferry holiday makers to and fro, Mersing- Tioman noticeably as the most spectacular island on the east coast of Peninsula Malaysia have come to an end eventually. Almost a year has gone and passed since the service came to a halt, still people keep wondering aloud if this mighty speed boat would ever resurrected. Literally, woes and grouses from scores of passengers in the past have proven that the service given was rather mediocre & undesirable. Today, the route to the island has been relieved and revived .These boats became obsolete, the successor hi-speed ferry is superior. We hardly heard people’s laments after rendering the service.
Although, the service steadily received good and over-helmed response, snag is never be averted. Whenever the tide at the river-mouth low, it’s virtually impassable for all out-going and in-coming boats. In light of the ferry schedule made according to the tide level therefore huge disappointment for islands bound travelers, whenever the last boat of the day is missed.
Ironically, there is a glimpse of hope that the service may be reinstated. Well, there are a few things that need to be sorted out before the return. High operation cost deemed to be the main contribution to the failure. Let's hope when it comes back this time it will be a complete new service level and a sheer accepted.
