Inviting Stranger means Inviting Troubles!
I think you share my sentiments that how nice and content when we are able to see our offspring running around freely, playing with their favorite toys, hugging or cuddling teddy bear or just enjoying meals without the incitement of fear from the newly invited “ alien”. There are reasons behind every fidgets that our children do or done. Their naïve make our life sweeter and richer even more, joyful sometimes left us clueless and speechless. We fathomed that this has been part of our life-cycle and life is about learning from young till our days are numbered. We learn every day hence learning begin with our children. It is invaluable and probably the most exquisite moment to see them grow from childhood to adolescent. We have dogged determination to raise them up but apparently our sunny sky start brewing and turning into dark clouds.
Abruptly, with the foreign maids that widely employed & finally invited to our home, another horrid time and heart wrenching –sight is going to happen indefinite time. When parents are out for their daily routine, kids are left alone to the just-known stranger and this is the moment where fear is trembling.
A little learning is a dangerous thing thus many parents who are counting on foreign maid to assist them in their domestic chores, looking after the love ones that need attention and so on but without realizing that the servants that engaged are lack of common sense and feeble-minded. Personally, being an ex- foreign maid employer I had had experienced with so many undesirable encounters and literally safety of our children is always at stake. Having a maid who has already gone astray is bad and paying through our nose for their service is certainly absurd.
I would believe that a child has been abused by maid rather than the great-pretender maid was abused by her employer.
